General benefit terms
- In general, the above team member benefits, unless otherwise stated, become available from day one of your time with amazee.io.
 
- All annual expensed benefits (Education, Health & Wellbeing, Tech benefit) have their annual amounts renewed on January 1st each year
 
- No expensed benefits (Education, Health & Wellbeing, Tech benefit, Connectivity) may be rolled over or accumulated to the next year, or month in the case of connectivity. Its a case of use it within the defined time period, or lose it.
 
- All budgets are available in full upon their respective renewals and qualifying periods. e.g. You’ll get be able to claim the full amount for the benefit once it renews.
 
- The Education, Connectivity, and Health and Wellbeing budget will all be prorated in the case of a part time team member. (e.g. 60% of the normal educational budget, including pro rating the paid time off for this benefit, with a 60% working percentage). The tech budget is the exception in this case, and the full amount will be available irrespective of the working percentage.
 
- The amounts of all annual expensed benefits will be prorated in the case of a team member leaving or joining part way through the year.
- e.g. If an employee leaves as of July 1st, then any yearly benefit would be 50%. Any used benefit amounts exceeding the prorated benefit available for the departing team member may be recovered by amazee.io through the final salary.
 
- In the case of someone joining the company midway through the year, the benefit is also prorated for their first calendar year.
