Workstream Purpose

The purpose of the Lagoon team is to develop, evolve, and improve our customer facing tools, and naturally our key delivery tool, Lagoon. We are central in ensuring that our services remain relevant and useful to our clients, and in maintaining our ability to be a global deployment partner. We also work collaboratively with other internal teams, supporting the development of internal tools, with the understanding that this ultimately all adds to a better client and platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements and Maintains Lagoon Codebase (Charts, Core, Remote, Images, Examples, etc.)
• Manages and coordinates exchange with other Open Source Tools (Lando, etc.)
• Manages and Maintains Marketing for Lagoon Brand
• Coordinates joint marketing campaigns with amazee.io marketing team
• Organizes Lagoon specific Webinars/Office hours
• Organizes Lagoon appearance at Events with help of amazee.io marketing team
• Maintains Lagoon Documentation and Training Videos
• Coordinates with other open source communities and Foundations
• Provides customer research, UI/UX knowledge, service design, documentation, training to other teams.

Non-Responsibilities

• Run, Deploy and Maintain Lagoon 24/7
• Deciding on implementation of non-Lagoon features
