Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Strategy
- Partner with Product to translate business strategy and commercial objectives into engineering roadmaps and architectural decisions
- Set technical vision and direction that supports stability, scalability, and innovation of all software, infrastructure, and tooling built and maintained
- Ensure that software, infrastructure, and tooling is written and built securely
- Build and maintain a cohesive technical architecture ensuring all components integrate seamlessly
- Balance innovation with operational excellence and technical debt management
- Make critical technical decisions while considering business impact and engineering constraints
- Serve as a public-facing technical leader, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse engineering organization across distributed teams
- Create career paths within technical teams that balance specialist and leadership tracks
- Empower autonomous teams while maintaining accountability for consistent delivery
