Responsibilities
Sourcing & Identifying Leads with Purpose
- Research and prioritize accounts that align with our ideal customer profiles using relevant tools for efficiency
- Monitor relevant channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, communities, conferences) to spot meaningful triggers and buying signals, and where relevant, finding and testing new channels, formats, and tools to keep outreach fresh and efficient
- Build and manage a pipeline of targeted contacts, and keep the data well maintained and accurate.
- Build and maintain a strong and effective professional network through frequent, engaging touch points, building digital networks and participating in communities, and event attendance/contribution etc.
Qualifying Leads
- Run discovery calls or async qualification to validate need, urgency, technical fit, and budget
- Apply relevant frameworks and principles to e.g. BANT to make sure time is spent on valuable opportunities
Processes that Scale
- Create and refine outbound playbooks that can be reused and improved, and provide feedback on the sales process and customer journey.
- Track what works and what doesn’t, and adjust your strategy based on what’s working
- Collaborate with Sales to align hand-offs, lifecycle stages, and messaging
